New Albums Out Today - 05/03/2024

I have been MIA but I managed to throw together a friday release list this week. Enjoy!

If you listen to one album today, make it this one. Obey Cobra is a new discovery for me and the quality of this album is one of the biggest surprises for me this year. RIYL: Unsane, The Horrors, No-Man, Adulkt Life, Metz, Autolux

But don't just listen to one album. At least listen to two. This is also bomb.

Top quality black metal that perfectly fits it's mining concept while not sounding like a gimmick in any way.

The first band to claim the "Ecstatic Black Metal" moniker and not come off as repelling. Love this. 

Dan is from the Oh-Sees (or whatever variation they are on how) and this solo album is nothing like that band. This is hazy ambient much like Cowboy Sadness or Saloli. In a genre that is flooded, this stands out.
